Buck Kelly and Bob Rogers

Buck Kelly

Buck Kelly started working for Snow Tire in Athens, GA in 1966.  Three years later Buck purchased Snow Tire and continued to manage and operate the business until he passed away in 1991.

Buck was heavily involved in the National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association and the Georgia Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association.  He served terms as the President on the Board of Directors.  Buck was also one of the founders of the GTDRA Scholarship Foundation which continues to thrive today.

Buck volunteered in the Athens community and was always willing to help someone in need.

Bob Rogers

Bob Rogers worked in the tire industry for over 30 years.  He started working in the Atlanta area as an Assistant manager of a Goodyear store and in 1980 B ...[more]

2010 Hall of Fame Winners

Congratulations to our 2010 Hall of Fame Winners!

Tom Snow and Bobby Carroll

Tom Snow, founder of Atlanta Commercial Tire

Following a stint in the Army Reserves, Snow worked for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.  He held various positions at several Firestone locations, his last being division truck tire manager. 

He resigned from Firestone in 1970 to begin Atlanta Commercial Tire. At the time of his death in July 1990, he owned two Bandag retread plants, two retail stores and a truck tire center.

He was active in the National Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association. He also served as president and board member for the GTDRA and the Metro Atlanta Tire Dealers.
